As I was walking from the parking lot I came in step with a colleague I admire - his name is Larry.
He's an energetic, positive, and knowledgeable guy. I asked him if he was still lecturing and how things were going with things. Being the wonderful conversationalist and networker he is, he asked about me.
"Everything is the same, nothing new, it's all good," I replied.
Then he said, which I paraphrase, "Today is new, you've never lived this day before. Being the positive person you are I know you will do everything you can to seize the opportunity of the day."
Beaming, I replied, "You're right!" I am going to have a great day.
So, my gift to you is Larry's insight (thanks Larry), and the wish for you to seize the opportunity of today.
